A Pre-Coder is an entry level administrative coding position that ensures all information is complete and available in order for Certified Professional Coders to code physician services to bill the charges to insurance. Responsible for reviewing and tracking of revenue processes. This is a very good position for someone working toward becoming a CPC. Pay for this role depends on experience; 12.50 - 14.00 per hour.
A Certified Coder at Iowa Ortho has a CPC or CCA coding certification and at least one year of speciality coding behind them. If you have experience in medical coding with a certification as well as a passion customer service, this position could be right for you. Pay for this role depends on experience; 14.00 - 19.00 per hour.
